On December 19, 2024, Panxing Construction Company visited Wanxing Elementary School to celebrate Christmas with the students. They brought gifts and joy, while the teachers and students prepared a talent show and a warm welcome in return. This event reflected society's care and support for education in remote areas. 

2024年12月19日，磐興建設公司來到萬興國小，與學生們一起慶祝聖誕節。他們帶來了禮物與歡樂，而師生們則以才藝表演和熱情的歡迎作為回應。這次活動展現了社會對偏鄉教育的關懷與支持。

Students use Flipcode to program the robot with ultrasonic sensors. The robot moves forward and stops or turns when it detects an obstacle. This activity helps students develop problem-solving skills and understand sensor-based navigation. 

學生們使用 Flipcode 程式設計機器人，透過超音波感應器進行操作。機器人可以前進，當偵測到障礙物時會停止或轉彎。這項活動幫助學生培養解決問題的能力，並理解基於感應器的導航原理。

The library at Wanxing Elementary School is busy during break time. The volunteers help the students borrow and return books. Their dedication ensures smooth and efficient library services. This makes the library a great place to go. 

下課時，萬興國小的圖書館非常熱鬧，志工協助學生借還書。他們的付出讓圖書館運作更加流暢高效。圖書館成為大家喜歡造訪的地方。

The Parents Association of Changhua County visited the school to organize the ‘RoboMaster’ program. The RoboMaster, shaped like a tank, amazed students with its speed and agility. They had fun exploring and learning about technology. 

彰化縣各級家長會到校舉辦「機甲大師」課程。機甲大師 外形像坦克，以其速度和敏捷的反應讓學生們感到驚嘆。他們透過這次活動快樂地探索並學習了科技相關的知識。

The students are taking an ecology lesson. The Huataka Vine is one of the plants that can be found on the school campus. This unique plant is a key food for the larvae of the Pale Blue Butterfly. Each year, this shrub attracts a large number of butterflies for them to lay their eggs on. Not long ago, the entire vine was covered with larvae! The flowers were all eaten but now that have regrown their fruit.

校園中的華他卡藤是淡紋青斑蝶幼蟲的食草，每年都吸引非常多的淡紋青斑蝶前來產卵，前陣子，華他卡藤整棵植物的葉子被淡紋青斑蝶的幼蟲吃個精光，現在總算又長回來了，準備開花結果了。

Chinese New Year is coming soon, it’s time for us to write Spring couplets in art class. We hope in our hearts that these Spring couplets will bring us peace, safety, luck and abundance in the new year. Because we have written them ourselves, they are full of blessings! 

隨著農曆新年即將到來，美勞課上大家寫下「平平安安」、「大吉大利」、「年年有餘」等春聯。我們滿懷期待，希望這些春聯能為新年帶來平安、幸運與豐盛。因為是親手書寫的，祝福更顯濃厚。

The Board Game Club spends their Tuesdays trying various games. The students are playing Blokus. This activity requires players to connect blocks of various shapes. The blocks must be connected point-to-point, not side-to-side. The rules state that there must be at least two players, but not more than four. The player with the most blocks left at the end loses the game. 

週二桌遊社團都會玩各式各樣的遊戲。學生們正在玩德國圍棋。這款遊戲要求玩家連接各種形狀的方塊，但只能點對點相連，不能邊對邊相接。遊戲規則規定，至少需要兩名玩家，最多四名玩家。最後剩下最多方塊的玩家即為輸家！

During the first semester of the 113th academic year, honorable students receive special commendation for returning lost property. With the teachers’ caring guidance, the children have developed good and honest character and they will not keep any lost money for themselves. It’s truly respectable! 

在第113學年的第一學期，優秀學生因歸還失物而獲得特別表揚。在老師們的悉心教導下，孩子們養成了善良、誠實的性格，不會把失去的錢財佔為己有。確實令人敬佩！

The flea market charity sale was held at the end of the school year.  The students brought any second-hand items from home  to sell for charity. Their classmates set up a blind box lottery system, so the people who made a purchase could have a chance for a lucky draw! When the sale was finished, we donated part of the proceeds to various charity organizations to show our support!

歲末年終，學校舉辦跳蚤市場，孩子們將家裡可以回收再利用的二手物品拿來義賣，班上同學將其轉變成盲盒抽抽樂，讓每個來買的同學、家長都能抽到意想不到的驚喜，我們還把義賣所得的部分款項捐給慈善團體，為愛心出一份心力。
